This masterclass was designed to demystify computational modeling and its role in optimizing planning and policy decisions. The course shared how models help generate optimal scenarios for projects, illustrated through five case studies: marine spatial planning, climate adaptation, mobility, public space and regenerative agriculture.

is an ongoing collaborative effort and a multi-stakeholder initiative convened by Cities Alliance (UNOPS). Its purpose is to advance sustainable, affordable building solutions for informal settlements.

UN Water Conference

in New York, the first in nearly 50 years, brought leaders together to address water challenges. The Belgian Consulate hosted throughout the week, featuring multimedia presentations, panel discussions and interactive installations, showcasing innovative water management solutions.

Architecture Biennale Rotterdam

This exhibition at the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam explored the transformation of Antwerp’s Ring Road—from a highway to a network of parks and public spaces. A timeline traced the project’s elaborate co-creation strategy, while a circular model display, illustrated the phased evolution of the Ring Parks, revealing how extensive co-creation has shaped its design over time.

Lisbon Architecture Triennale

This full-room immersive installation explored the future of maritime infrastructures, showcasing engineered landscapes that merge renewable energy, coastal resiliency and marine ecosystem support. Displayed across four walls and the floor, it featured a central energy island model, illustrating ORG’s cross-disciplinary approach to sustainable development.

ORG Systems

This strategic framework was developed with ORG Architecture and Urbanism. It established a Systems Approach to translate large-scale urban and infrastructural challenges into built projects. Grounded in Advanced Spatial Analysis, Coalition Building & Process Management and Design & Planning the initiative formalized a method for integrating systemic intelligence into urban development.

Repurposing Offshore Oilrigs

This initiative proposed a new life for decommissioned offshore oil rigs, transforming them into multi-use infrastructure for renewable energy, aquaculture, carbon capture, and marine ecosystem restoration. The work outlined economic, environmental, and social benefits, advocating for a shift from mono-functional extraction to circular, regenerative solutions.
