Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress
The Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress is an annual event focused on the future of urban innovation. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and researchers, the congress serves as a platform to explore solutions for sustainable, data-driven and resilient cities.
As part of the Belgian Pavilion, ORG Architecture and Urbanism presented four key campaigns aimed at transforming urban environments:
Mobility and Public Space establishes integrated, multi-modal mobility networks and qualitative public spaces to enhance public health, social connectivity and sustainability.
Coastal and Marine planning is an emerging discipline focused on restoring ocean ecosystems while supporting the energy transition and climate resilience.
Innovation and Industry creates hubs of transformation across sectors, from tech to agriculture, integrating design and programming that instigates opportunity and long-term societal benefit.
Ìntegrated Development focuses on a holistic approach to planning across multiple domains such as agriculture, mobility or watershed management.
ORG commissioned multimedia materials to articulate their campaigns and support their presence at the expo. The resulting output is a short video, an animated presentation, a series of campaign postcards and ‘calculator’ booklets, highlighting the application of bespoke calculators on several projects.
These materials provided a clear and compelling visual story about their technical expertise, positioning ORG’s work in computational urbanism and strategic design, making complex information accessible to a wide audience.
